KEYYO, a subsidiary of Bouygues Telecom Entreprises
Paris, September 3, 2020 – Keyyo, a 100% subsidiary of Bouygues Telecom Entreprises, specializing in solutions for SMEs and VSEs, announces that it has recently completed the acquisition of the majority stake in Apizee, editor of open solutions for video-assistance.
Apizee is a French company, created in 2013 by Michel L’Hostis and Frédéric Luart, in Lannion, the cradle of telecommunications in France.
Apizee’s video assistance solutions, which have experienced strong adoption in recent months in the context of COVID 19 and the accelerated digitization of companies, make it possible to provide remote assistance in sectors as health, industry, insurance or banking. Thanks to these solutions, experts (advisers, agents, doctors, etc.) can establish a diagnostic and provide effective responses to their interlocutors as if they were on the same site. Apizee’s video assistance solutions are used as much to communicate between company employees, as with private or business customers. French companies such as Safran Aircraft Engines, Caisse d’Epargne, Enedis, Groupe Atlantic and international companies such as the German telemedicine leader, Deutsch Arzt AG, have successfully adopted the Apizee video assistance solutions.
Apizee has fully developed its own secure technical platform CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service), based in particular on the WebRTC protocol. This allows great flexibility of deployment and ease of implementation and use by end-users: no software to install and compatibility with different types of devices (smartphones, tablets, drones, connected helmets and glasses, specific cameras, etc.). Apizee solutions are also available in API mode, for even easier and faster integration into existing business tools. Customer data is stored in servers based in Europe, which guarantees their security and compliance, in particular with regard to the GDPR.
The arrival of Keyyo in Apizee’s capital will allow the company to accelerate its growth while rapidly benefiting from Keyyo’s recognized expertise with very small businesses and SMEs and Bouygues Telecom Entreprises expertise with large accounts. Keyyo and Bouygues Telecom Entreprises, for their part, will be able to strengthen their catalogs of offers with this jewel of video assistance.
François Treuil, CEO of Bouygues Telecom Entreprises, declares: “This operation carried out by Keyyo confirms Bouygues Telecom Entreprises’ position as an innovative challenger on the B2B market in France. By integrating this brick of services with very high added value, we will be able to offer our customers new services allowing them to accelerate their digitalisation and improve the satisfaction of their own customers.”
Philippe Houdouin, President of Keyyo, adds: “The acquisition of Apizee strengthens Keyyo’s potential for innovation in key technologies for companies and will make it possible to launch video and collaboration solutions integrated as standard to our offers in the coming months.”
Michel LHostis, Founder of Apizee underlines: “This rapprochement with Keyyo and Bouygues Telecom Entreprises offers Apizee new growth prospects to become the sovereign European solution for secured videoconferencing and video expertise”
