Apizee, a French video solution for customer relations, puts video at the heart of the customer experience. Using our secure tools, organizations can quickly resolve complex customer issues, while reducing costs and creating an exceptional customer experience.
Created in 2013, Apizee develops a real-time video communication solution based on WebRTC technology that allows the video solution to be run in a web browser, without any application installation. The solution works on tablets, smartphones, PC or Mac.
Since 2020 Apizee has been part of the Bouygues Telecom group, which makes it legitimate to be the European sovereign solution for secure video conferencing and sectoral video expertise.
Apizee is located in Brittany, Lannion and Rennes, and employs 40 people.
Job opening
As part of its commercial expansion, Apizee is opening a new Business Developer position to strengthen its existing sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, creating and developing his/her own customer portfolio, coordinating sales partners, managing incoming leads and promoting and marketing our offer in various sectors (to be defined according to profile).
Sales cycles can range from a few days to several months, possibly involving test phases and a consultative sales approach.
Reporting to the Sales Director and to Management, the Business Developer will be in direct contact with customers, partners and end-users, as well as internal teams (projects, CSM, technical).
The position requires mobility, and travel in France and possibly abroad is to be expected (meetings with prospects and customers, participation in trade shows and conferences).
You will receive training in our solutions and support in our marketing techniques as soon as you arrive.
Your missions:
- In charge of the complete development cycle, both by opening and developing new accounts and by converting incoming leads.
- Develop and manage your customer portfolio.
- Recruit and lead a network of sales partners.
- Achieve sales targets on one-shot and recurring (subscription) business.
- For major projects, contribute to after-sales customer service in collaboration with the project, CSM and technical teams during the testing and deployment phases.
- Contribute to product roadmaps (functionalities, user experience) by reporting and sharing customer requirements with the R&D team.
- Ensure weekly reporting of sales activities.
Profil required
You have an engineering or business degree and a minimum of 2 years' successful experience in selling B2B solutions, ideally in the SaaS software or services sector.
You have a passion for new technologies and are looking to put your professional sales experience to good use in a mature startup.
Technical qualifications and experience:
- Strong sales drive, B2B software sales culture and results-driven culture.
- Good knowledge of Web & Cloud technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Inventive, tenacious, motivated by the startup environment and entrepreneurial culture, and able to make proposals.
- Fluency in French and English. Any other language would be a plus, but is not mandatory.
